ANVIL 1ST KOTE PRIMER & EQUALIZER, covers and primes the differences between the texture variations of gypsum board paper and joint compound finishes to a level 5 finish from a level 4 finish. It helps to equalize the porosity and surface texture differences found in new construction dry wall installations, typically called ‘joint banding’. Forms a tight dry film, formulated with ’plating technology’ which delivers excellent dry film hold out characteristics for satin and semi-gloss top coats. In production use ceilings can be left un-painted.
